ABOUT US
Transition Wilmslow is a charity based in Wilmslow, Cheshire. We work together on climate change, biodiversity and health & wellbeing initiatives in Wilmslow, Handforth and the surrounding area.

We want to help build a community where people join together to help grow food, plant trees and support biodiversity; where everyone feels safe walking and cycling, where we reduce our dependence on fossil fuels through insulating our homes and businesses, and where possible generating power from nature, and where our peat bogs and woodlands are restored to become the carbon sinks we so desperately need to tackle climate change.

We believe that…
♦ If we wait for the governments, it’ll be too little, too late
♦ If we act as individuals, it’ll be too little
♦ If we act as communities, it might just be enough, just in time.

We are part of the international Transition Network and Transition Together
