What do we mean by that?

Living sustainably means not consuming too much - not buying unnecessarily, but of course we do need to buy and use some services. So our aim here is to suggest to you local businesses who are promoting living sustainably and owned by local people. We are sharing here some of our favourite places in Wilmslow who are genuinely sustainable, either promoting re-use, repair/mending, stocking local produce, or making their own products, using packaging that does not damage the planet etc.

The Cheshire Mercantile - An artisan shop specialising in the highest quality dairy products, and vegan cheeses, and local craft beer; they prioritise local makers.

Frankland Tree Service - if you do need tree removal, choose this ethical company who will ensure every last bit of wood is re-used.

LJ Natural - handmade organic skincare in plastic free packaging, with a zero-waste section (totally packagaging free)
